Blizzard Launches Wow Armory FaceBook Application
Everyone know FaceBook, one of the famous social networking website in the world. The Facebook users can add friends and send them message, and update their personal profiles to notify friends such as what they are doing! [More About FaceBook] Every World of Warcraft player know Wow Armory. Based upon the popular of FaceBook, Blizzard developed and launched an official FaceBook Armory Application.
So how to linked your Wow accounts with your facebook username? It is simple once you are similar with facebook application. It’s still easy even it is the first time you are trying facebook.
- Sign up or Login into Facebook accounts
- Click the link: apps.facebook.com/wow-armory/
- Select the Region(Americas/Europe/Korea) and click the create security key, which used for linking the app with your Battle.net accounts. The Battle.net popup window will show up once you click the button create security key.
- Select Characters will be linked to the current facebook accounts.
- Configure settings and well done!
A poll at ZAM.com to survey if the World of Warcraft players would like to use the Armory Facebook application. It seems more people won’t use it!

I have a suggestion for the WoW Armory Application on facebook. Please would you add more detailed privacy settings for this application, I have some guild friends on facebook and I’d like the content posted by the app to be limited to be viewed by them and them only, BUT there is no way to do this except to set the privacy for each post individually and then manually post them which can be very time consuming.
In addition I think it would also be good if we were able to add a “World of Warcraft” tab to our profile and a list of our recent activities be listed there under each character, rather than filling up our profile feed with the posts.
Also as one more improvement, I think it would be good if we could link a facebook group with the armory, so we can update our guild calendar, view our guild vault and so on, because our guilds page is on facebook and I think this improvement would be a great help.
Although this last one may be beyond your powers but maybe if a request is made to facebook, it could be done.
