General Measures for Computer Security

Security Software: The computer that you used for sign in/up should be clear first. Make sure there is a good Antivirus, firewall and spyware software, such as NOD32. Don’t take any chances to login your WoW accounts on a computer without any Antivirus software.

The following are password rules taken from official site of wow:

  • The Account Password must contain at least one numeric character and one alphabetic character.
  • It must differ from your account name.
  • It must be between eight and sixteen characters in length.
  • It may only contain alphanumeric characters and punctuation, such as A-Z, 0-9, or !”#$%.

Here are some additionally tips for stronger password. We should observe the above rules first! Then:

  • Longer one always be better than short.
  • Use the special punctuation or symbol(!”#$%) in the middle of your wow passwords.
  • Don’t include your name or birthday in the passwords.
