Exteel Not Available
Today’s newsletter from PlayNC caught my attention because it features NCsoft’s newest Free-To-Pay game, Exteel.
In Exteel, players take command of giant fighting Mechanaughts, clashing in furious deathmatches and team-oriented battles against other players or computer-controlled enemies.
I then went to Exteel’s web site to learn more about the game and in doing so, I found out that I won’t be able to try this game because, it seems that, Exteel is not available in my region. Sometimes it sucks to be in a third-world country! LOL!
Anyway, I just settled to watching Exteel videos in YouTube since I won’t be able to try it and I must say that it kinda reminded me of another game I used to play. I also searched for a Philippine release of Exteel but I didn’t find any.
Again, Exteel is Free-To-Play. If it’s available to your region and you want to give this game a try then you can sign-up here and then you can download the client here.

Update: Below is a screenshot of PlayNC’s registration screen for Exteel and it clearly says “Exteel™ is not available in your region“. Of course I can always try and cheat the system by using a proxy but I’m not going to do that.

i and my fellow “ka-computer shop” players registered for Exteel last December 2007, when i wanted to create a sub-account it said na “not available na sa philippines” so nagpa-register ako through my nephew who is in US and IT WORKED. /heh. whoever said that isn’t true. I work for NCSoft and we have no plans of launching Exteel outside North America until the year 2011 in which our stations will be established in. We are terribly sorry for this rumor.
