Dead Frontier Online

I am not a very big fan of browser MMO games but a couple of days ago I stumbled upon Dead Frontier Online and it grabbed my attention instantly. Dead Frontier Online is a zombie themed MMO where your character is trapped in a city filled with flesh eating zombies.

Getting started is very easy. In fact, after creating and verifying my new Dead Frontier account I immediately went into the action and started knifing some flesh eaters and it has a lot of them in the game. LOL! What can you expect? It is a zombie mmo so it will have lots and lots of them. You can register for a new account at deadfrontier.com.

Ooops! I forgot to mention that you will need to create a character first before you can play. Dead Frontier Online has some interesting characters like Doctor, Police, Soldier, Farmer, Engineer, Student, Chef and others more. Me? I chose to become a Policeman in the game and I was equipped with a knife and a baretta. Being a new player, I was excited to start playing and as I have said I immediately went to the city and started to knife some zombies.

The game itself is pretty easy to play. Just go into the city and start killing zombies. The more zombies you kill, the more experience points you earn. Once your experience reaches 100%, you must then return to the outpost to level up. Increasing your character’s level awards you with points you can use to enhance your character’s abilities. Me? I increased my endurance and my melee skills since I kinda like going one on one with those flesh eaters although most of the times they don’t fight fair and will eventually gang you up until you are DEAD! LOL!

Assigning Points

Oh, I almost forgot, you can play the game on your own or you can enter the Multiplayer Mode and play with other players. I like going at it by myself so I kinda didn’t try this mode yet but I will once I get a better. Right now, I am still a newbie and I still have lots to learn about the game.

Controlling your character is also very easy. You move Up, Down, Left and Right by pressing the ASWD keys and you use the mouse to change the direction of where your character is facing. It is very important to be aware of where you are facing because you can only attack in the direction of where your character faces.

The Outpost or Nastya’s Holdout, the place where you start, has 6 areas all of which has different functions. I suggest that you go through all of them because it is important to learn where to store and buy equipments, weapons, armors and other things that may aid you in your zombie hunting.

I haven’t played many zombie MMO games but I am quite sure that Dead Frontier will be one of the best zombie game out there. So, if you haven’t tried it then this is the perfect time to give it a spin. I had fun playing it and best of all it is FREE!
