Card Games and Second Life
Poker is a very popular card game and, with the advent of the internet, Online Poker has become very popular as well. In the virtual world of Second Life card games like poker and others were once very popular but because of the gambling ban imposed by Linden Labs these games are almost no longer played. I said almost because I’ve seen a few where these games are played but they are played privately amongst a few people.
Anyway, even without these kinds of card games other forms of card games have been created and have emerged on the grid. A couple of these card games are Spades and Hearts which are both fun and competitive to play. Of course, you won’t be able to play these games alone so always bring in a friend to play with you.
There are other kinds of card games out there but I kinda prefer other types of games like fishing with the 7Seas Fishing Game System where fishers catch fish that can be worn as pets or placed in aquariums. I also enjoy combat in Second Life like swordfighting and jousting. Unfortunately, winning is very difficult for me because of my computer’s limits. I don’t have the best computer for fighting in Second Life.
For those who enjoys card games in Second Life why not try other kinds of games. You’ll never know if you’ll like it until you tried it. LOL!

i love second life! there are plenty of things to do there other than games as well. i haven’t played in a long time, but right before i stopped playing, sculpties were being used to build things, and the community has come up with more and more amazing builds and creations. so exploring can be mighty fun and so is building. or, own your own business and make lindens. i used to be a clothes maker and owned a graphic design business there–that was fun, too.
