Goodbye To Khan Online Philippines
I have not played Khan Online for more than a year now but I still do visit the forum just to know what is happening in it. In my visit today, I learned that Khan Online Philippines publisher, Level Up Games, has finally decided to close down the service after 4 years.
Honestly, I was not surprised to learn about the closure because I’ve known a long time ago (not really that long, LOL) that Khan Online Philippines would be the next game to go and besides it was to be expected, the game is almost dead anyway so why prolong the suffering of the few remaining Khanatics.
Below is GM-Setsuna’s announcement at Khan Online Philippines official forum:
My Dearest Friends in Khan
I wish you all well and in good health.
As you are all wondering and probably in shock after hearing the news from your fellow players who attended the meeting last night, I’ll paint a clear picture on what is probably going to happen in a few week’s time.
Yes, it’s true. The management is planning on closing down the game we have come to love for almost 4 years.
Main reason is the lack of developer support.
As much as we would like this game to continue, Mirinae already withdrew their assistance in providing additional content, updates and even game exploit fixes prompting us to look for other alternatives.
We even thought of the possibility of acquiring licensing of Khan Program just to keep our small community intact.
Sadly, it’s impossible - we are just a publisher not game developer.
In hopes of saving our precious community we have decided to find you a new home to PW and it was one of our agenda last night.
It may or it may not be the answer but we can’t just go down without a fight nor leave without establishing any means of contact.
In truth, we are all part of the Khan Family.
Even with personal differences in-game and IRL, we have always kept in touch with one another for more than 3 years…

Just for the record, I never QUIT Khan Online. I was just waiting for an update to the game. I guess that update will never come.
Anyway, in my few years playing Khan Online I’ve met and became friends with a lot of people. I know I haven’t been in-contact with them but I’m pretty sure I would never forget them specially those that make up the greatest Guild in Khan Online history, xxxHolic.

Level Up Games is closing Khan Online Philippines to give way to their new flagship game “Perfect World” which to me, looks more of a circus rather than an Online game. What a way to treat their patrons of 3 years! LUG sucks!

LUGi, has been sucking for years. It’s just a shame that NetGames wasn’t able to deliver. NetGames’ customer service was bar none the best during Khan Online’s Close and Open Beta periods.

i felt sad when i heard the news.i haven’t played this game for a very long time because my account was hacked and after that i decided to quit.T_T i miss khan online. it’s been a part of my life. it was the first online game that i played.i made a lot of friends and met people who became part of my life.. goodbye Khanatics.goodbye khan online.thanks.

ahays naluluha me kapag nakkta ko sa friendster ko pics ni milkee41 ko huhuhu, ive spent morethan 50,000 on this game including the time when i was still renting till i bought my own computer even the loads that i have spent, i will never forget those khanatics whom i made contact to, this is the 1st online MMORPG ive ever played, i missed the maps and every mobs, sna magkaroon ng offline n2 para nasisilip ko padin ang maps kahit ako lang magisa sa mundo ng khan online

I really really really miss KHAN online. But instead of that i played other game just like tantra, When i cre8 a CHar to Tantra Name Rakshasa, It is Assasin. When i open it i remember My Khan character i told to my self na assasin rin ung char ko sa Khan….

Gail - 2 and half years din ako nag khan, mula beta tester hangang sa official lauching khanatic ako… and still khanatic in heart..
Ang masasabi ko lng, can’t afford na ng netgames at level up ang next patch ng khan.. masyado kc mahal.. well.. kya nga ganun nlng ang premium at load pra they could afford the next patch, but its not enough..
but still.. i hope khan will come back, or another game similar to khan will come.. i will miss all of you..

I did cry when khan online decided to be closed. It was one of my greatest time when I was playing online. Huhu kenis di man lang nagawan ng way para magpatuloy pa. Khan was my first and last MMORPG online game and di na sya masusunda pa. I tried some MMOrpg but it didn’t give the excitement and chills that Khan delivers me. Too bad I miss my Micko - Ayumi18 and Assasin - DarkFaith though di sila sikat and ganun kataas level haha maganda naman build ko sa mga yan. DOTA na lang tayo mga pare at mare. haha

ahuhuu chek mo nlng yung forum,. ganyan sakit ng khan thai,. mga tae cla ,, ndi nmn alam kung bwal na mga outsider,. pero last month sira un,. then trinay ko after 5 days? bglang umandar nakapag reg aku,.

pa-help naman po… may pinagawa kami pang private server ng khan kaso sa LAN game lang daw ang nakayanan nila… nakuha ko na ung installer pero di ko pa alam kung gumagana… update ko po kayo ulit kung gagana sa LAN…. madali na siguro gawan ng private server un kaso wala ako kilala gagawa…. tnx…

MAN! so sad du. I really enjoyed this game. I’ve been playing Khan online for more then 2 yrs but I’ve stop cuz i’ve got married. but it wont stop me to visit the forums and talking to my IG friends. sometimes i go online for awhile even i dont have any loads just to pm my guildmates and friends online. but then again, it was not the game that brings happiness… but the people surrounds you… to my friends ang guildmates in ArKhana and Sugbuanon, thanks for playing with you guys. Hope we’ll see each other again… =)
