Yes, you read that right and this is true with Hello Kitty Online. Aw, who wouldn’t know about Hello Kitty. He he he! SanrioDigital has teamed up with Typhoon Games to bring you the wonderful world of Sanrio to you in the form of an mmorpg, Hello Kitty Online.

The game went into close beta last February 13, 2008. If you wish to apply for close beta testing then head on over to Hello Kitty Online or to Sanrio Town to subscribe. To be honest, you won’t be seeing me playing this game and besides it is targeted to female players from their pre-teens to late twenties but if you are male and you still want to try it then why not. What am I saying? Of course you can try and play it!

Hello Kitty Online is fully integrated with Sanrio Town which is Sanrio’s official community site. This means that you’ll also get all the goodies available to Sanrio Town like blogging, e-mail, video sharing, merchandise sale and others. With Sanrio Town, players can extend their Sanrio experience outside the virtual world.

As mentioned, this game is not just about fighting monsters although it has a fairly sophisticated system but unlike other mmorpgs, a player can focus on other things besides combat.

The cuteness of the screenshots reminded me of Flyff and Ragnarok’s GUI but the graphics on Hello Kitty Online looks sharper and more refined. View more screenshots here!
