City Of Heroes/Villains Double XP Weekend

City of Heroes/Villains will be having a Double XP Weekend Event starting on February 8, 2008. The event will surely boost everyones level but what excites me is that I’ll be able to reactivate my inactive account, even for just a few days. I purchased City of Villains last year and only played it for 2 months. I have two villains stuck at Level 30 and 32. It would be very nice if I can level them up two or more levels. I still have 3 days to finish everything I’m doing so I can get ready for the Double XP Weekend.

It’s an exciting new year. Paragon City™ and the Rogue Isles™ are buzzing because the time is coming once again. Roughly twice a year we turn up the dial and invite players to rack up XP at double the normal rate. For an entire weekend, Hero and Villain characters will receive double the XP, Prestige, Influence, and Infamy for all of their accomplishments in the game.

The fun begins Friday, February 8, 2008! Take advantage of this opportunity to level up your favorite Heroes and Villains twice as quickly as normal. Good luck and have fun!

Start: Friday, February 8, 2008 at 8:59am PST / 11:59am EST
Finish: Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 8:59pm PST / 11:59pm EST

Update: Argh! I wasn’t able to play City of Villains. Just got to many things to do. It was very unfortunate for me since I was really looking forward on playing my toons (characters) again.
